Learning Spaces at Mulberry Learning @ Shenton Way

Beautifully designed spaces are hallmarks of the Mulberry Learning centre environment. We believe that our children learn best in thoughtfully-curated surroundings. That is why we spare no effort in creating a physical canvas that stimulates their senses, unleashes their innate creativity, and encourages their natural desire to explore. Here is a glimpse of the learning spaces at our Shenton Way centre.

Mulberry Learning’s Habits of Mind™ Framework

Habits of Mind™ is about knowing how to behave intelligently and respond effectively to uncertainty or dilemmas. It provides children of all ages a framework for autonomous learning, critical thinking and effective inquiry. These habits are introduced to the child by infusing them into the curriculum and delivered through daily lessons and activities.

Mulberry Learning is the first and only preschool in Singapore to be certified by The Institute for Habits of Mind.

FACT #1

Being the only preschool in Singapore to infuse the Habits of Mind™ framework into its curriculum, Mulberry Learning is also the first to provide an assessment platform called “The Habits of Mind Assessment Tool (THOMAS)” to measure and analyze the development of these habits in the child. With THOMAS, educators and parents will have access to a report that provides greater insight into the child’s growth of these intelligent habits.

Mulberry Learning – Habits of Mind™: Creating, Imagining & Innovating

As one of the 12 specially curated Habits of Mind™ infused into Mulberry Learning’s curriculum, Applying Past Knowledge to New Situations means developing a more profound understanding by applying thinking from one situation to another.

This habit guides the child on the importance of building on and applying past knowledge to learn more productively and effectively. The more the child learns, the more past knowledge they would possess that can be applied to situations that call for it.

The Habits of Mind™ framework is incorporated into the Ministry of Education’s Gifted Education Programme.

FACT #2

Why Mulberry Learning?

Mulberry Learning has a genuinely unique preschool curriculum incorporating the Reggio Emilia methodology and Habits of Mind™. It includes signature programmes like Literacy Fun™ and Chinese Master™ that will nurture your child into a competent explorer, an imaginative thinker and a creative problem solver.

Parent Reviews
  • Parents of Ronja (PN), Mulberry Learning @ Dover

"The Pre Nursery teachers at Mulberry Learning @ Dover are passionate and loving towards the children in their care, including our daughter. We always see them smiling and having fun while they are teaching. I appreciate that they are open to feedback and work hand-in-hand with parents, like us, in nurturing the children. We are also thankful to the centre Principal for always being respectful and gentle when talking to the children. She even sings songs with the children, even in public areas. This shows how much she cares about the children's development. To all the teachers and staff members at Mulberry Learning @ Dover, Thank you!"

  • Parents of Kayla, Mulberry Learning @ Braddell

“Thank you for all the heart work and dedication you put into teaching, caring and being patient with Kayla. We know she surely has an enjoyable time in school because she always says she likes her teachers and friends so much!”
  • Kevin and Kay, Parents of Kiara (N2), Mulberry Learning @ Punggol

“We've joined the Mulberry Learning Punggol family since the beginning, and we've been going through many ups and downs during the pandemic. One thing is for sure, the principal and the teachers never stopped thriving to make the school a conducive environment for the children. We see your efforts and hard work, educators! Thank you all for taking care of our daughter and being patient with her.”
  • Parents of Verity, Mulberry Learning @ Braddell

“Heartfelt thanks to Teacher Karmela, Lee Laoshi, Shen Tong Laoshi and Teacher Ong for all the affection, care and encouragement you have showered with our precious Verity. Those activities, words and life skills that you taught in the class are doing magically to her vocabulary and daily life. She comes back everyday telling me about all the interesting things she has done in school. I greatly appreciate your hard work, endurance and patience. Thank you for everything that you do. ”
  • Jolyn Tan, parent of Jolie Ann Ong, Mulberry Learning @ Marymount

“I am truly happy that I sent my daughter, Jolie to Mulberry Learning @ Marymount. Prior to sending her here, I've heard many good things about this school and how the teachers are patient, the methods of teaching and it does show in Jolie's everyday life. Simple things like taking off her shoes and putting it down neatly, wearing it on her own, grabbing her bag when I pick her up. They make good habits for our kids and I think that's a very important foundation to set in a child. The teachers have so much patience to teach and nurture all the children in the school, ensuring that they come home happy on the daily! Having said so, I will definitely send my second child here when she's old enough!”
  • Parents of Skyler, Mulberry Learning @ Braddell

“To all the lovely and caring teachers and non-teaching staff at Braddell infant care, thank you for your cheerful persona and lively interactions with the babies! We could tell that Skyler looks forward to school and is always happy and curious at drop off.”
