Located at Luzerne Building, just a short walk from Bendemeer and Boon Keng MRT stations, Mulberry Learning @ Bendemeer offers a unique Arts Immersion programme in a highly accessible location. As the first Arts Immersion preschool, the centre provides children with a thoughtfully designed environment where they can explore visual arts, music, movement, and creative expression as part of their learning journey.
Spanning 10,580 square feet, the centre features open layouts and glass windows that create a strong sense of visual connection across the space. Glass panels along classroom walls, together with child-accessible passageways, allow children from different classes to see, interact, and learn alongside one another. This open and interconnected design creates more opportunities for collaboration, spontaneous interactions, and meaningful learning experiences throughout the day.
The open dining area serves as a central communal space that can accommodate up to 50 children, providing a welcoming setting for shared meals and gatherings. Dedicated spaces have also been thoughtfully created for the Arts Immersion programme, including a visual arts atelier, dance studio, and music studio. Children can also enjoy active outdoor play at the centre’s dedicated outdoor playground, where they can move, explore, and develop their physical skills through play.
From the dedicated arts spaces to the carefully considered colour scheme throughout the centre, every aspect of the 10,580-square-foot environment has been designed to inspire creativity, curiosity, and exploration. Rooted in the Reggio Emilia approach, the centre views the environment as an important part of children’s learning, offering opportunities for children to explore, create, move, and express themselves in different ways while developing confidence, creativity, and a love for learning.

Mulberry Learning’s Habits of Mind™ Framework
Habits of Mind™ is about knowing how to behave intelligently and respond effectively to uncertainty or dilemmas. It provides children of all ages a framework for autonomous learning, critical thinking and effective inquiry. These habits are introduced to the child by infusing them into the curriculum and delivered through daily lessons and activities.
Mulberry Learning is the first and only preschool in Singapore to be certified by The Institute for Habits of Mind.
Being the only preschool in Singapore to infuse the Habits of Mind™ framework into its curriculum, Mulberry Learning is also the first to provide an assessment platform called “The Habits of Mind Assessment Tool (THOMAS)” to measure and analyze the development of these habits in the child. With THOMAS, educators and parents will have access to a report that provides greater insight into the child’s growth of these intelligent habits.
Mulberry Learning – Habits of Mind™: Creating, Imagining & Innovating
As one of the 12 specially curated Habits of Mind™ infused into Mulberry Learning’s curriculum, Applying Past Knowledge to New Situations means developing a more profound understanding by applying thinking from one situation to another.
This habit guides the child on the importance of building on and applying past knowledge to learn more productively and effectively. The more the child learns, the more past knowledge they would possess that can be applied to situations that call for it.
The Habits of Mind™ framework is incorporated into the Ministry of Education’s Gifted Education Programme.
Why Mulberry Learning?
Mulberry Learning has a genuinely unique preschool curriculum incorporating the Reggio Emilia methodology and Habits of Mind™. It includes signature programmes like Literacy Fun™ and Chinese Master™ that will nurture your child into a competent explorer, an imaginative thinker and a creative problem solver.
