This new centre will offer both infant care (2 to 17 months) and preschool (18 months to 6 years) programmes to families living in the area. With a brand new space, children get to enjoy new facilities as they continue to benefit from our award-winning programmes like Habits of MindTM and Reggio-inspired Project InquiryTM to more families living in the Braddell and Toa Payoh estate, and to nurture more future-ready children!
Beautifully designed learning spaces are hallmarks of the Mulberry Learning environment as we firmly believe that children learn best in beautiful and functional surroundings. This is why no effort was spared to create this space of wonderment that stimulates their senses, unleashes their creativity and encourages their natural urge for exploration.
As a Reggio-Emilia inspired preschool, Mulberry Learning @ Braddell is equipped with various learning corners that serve as tools for experiential learning, giving Mulberrians the chance to focus their attention on what interests them, whilst at the same time teaching them new lessons in the process. Learning stations throughout the centre offer numerous opportunities for creative thinking and exploration, providing children with opportunities to learn from each other with teachers facilitating the process.
Kaiqi, parent of Hannah Ng (N2), Mulberry Learning @ Cairnhill“Teachers Logesh and Pinyu Laoshi have invested so much love and sincerity in doing their best. Both my girls come home from school so joyful each day and given they take a long time to warm up to strangers, I felt the teachers did so well in helping the girls adapt when they first enrolled. All teachers are very open to communication and very patient with first-time parents like us. We are thankful that they are outstanding and committed in what they do on a daily basis.”
Regina Chow, parent of Rhapsody Ong (N1), Mulberry Learning @ Jurong East"My mind was set on Mulberry Learning the moment I saw how much Rhapsody enjoyed the Reggio Emilia inspired play areas when she was 19 months old. Mulberry’s holistic approach to education is also a huge draw. The daily outdoor sports, weekly waterplay and library visits are just some of the activities that she absolutely loves. I know I made the right choice because 6 months on, she still looks forward to seeing her teachers and friends everyday. Her caring and nurturing teachers always provide timely updates on Rhapsody’s developments. You can tell that everyone in the school, including the principal, is very hands-on and passionate about what they do, and that truly gives me the assurance that Rhapsody is in good hands."
Zhong Meifang, parent of Lucas Lau (N1), Mulberry Learning @ Marymount“My boy is happy being taught by Lai Laoshi! I can feel her passion and patience with the kids which is very important. In general, all staff are friendly and helpful. I greatly appreciate that all staff are very detailed with every kid during the daily hygiene check. I am also impressed that all teachers take the effort to remember the kids' names of other classes.”
Pua Khian Hong, parent of Hannah Pua (K2) and Daniel Pua (N2), Mulberry Learning @ Alexandra“Kudos to the team at Alexandra. One of the main reasons why we stayed on was the teachers who took extra care and were committed to their cause as early educators. Tr Sarwin has taught both our children. Throughout our time at Mulberry, we saw her relentless dedication towards the kids as well as to her duty as an early educator - either through the care directly given or indirectly through her observations and feedback given to us. She is patient with kids yet firm when push comes to shove.”
Joan Lefevre, parent of Nova Amelia Lefevre (N1), Mulberry Learning @ Marymount“Liang Laoshi has very good manners with the children, she is patient and structured and knows how to guide and direct the children in order to develop a project with the children. Her imagination and skills to build/construct/render projects are amazing. She is putting a lot of effort and is very detailed. The children- with their parents- feel very proud of their work.”
Chew Chen Li, parent of Hannah Pua (K2) and Daniel Pua (N2), Mulberry Learning @ Alexandra“Xu Lao Shi has been working tirelessly through the year to nurture the students under her care. She is very patient, and knows how to handle the children. She also has a good rapport with the children, and you can tell that she really cares for wants the best for the children. I think her attitude and positivity is highly commendable, and it also rubs off the children, who become interested and start to love the Chinese language.”
