“It is the only centre which focuses on Chinese as the first learning language rather than English and this definitely works very well for me as we mainly converse in English at home. It is also part of the centre’s objective to instil the Chinese culture and history to the children from young, which is not common in other centres unless it is a special occasion or festival.

The layout of Mulberry Learning @ Fusionopolis is very unique and encourages children to learn as they move around the school. It is as though the entire compound is one big classroom for them! I absolutely love the outdoor area, with a built-in mini playground and easels lying around for them as they pretend to be artists. There are also Sandplay, Waterplay areas and a mini-tricycle riding space as well!

In terms of curriculum, Cepheus definitely benefited a lot from Habits of MindTM, which introduces and enforces good habits in children and as the children religiously practise them throughout the term. With the interesting Project InquiryTM teaching style, I believe the children learn faster as the topic is relevant to our daily lives and they are more receptive in receiving the information.

Special shout out to the teachers who are always very patient with Cepheus and providing timely updates (pictures too!) and advice on how we can further nurture him at home. Thank you!”
