Join us on 11 – 19 March 2023 as Mulberry Learning presents 3 special showcases at the National Museum of Singapore this March school holiday. Get inspired by childrenās show-and-tell of their favourite artefacts at the gallery, and have fun with sensory play activities facilitated by our teachers. Our teacher and children also prepared a special exhibit curated to show the links between historical artefacts and their modern-day representation and what it could be like in the future.

Project Showcase: From the Past to the Future
11 ā 19 Mar | 10am ā 7pm | Glass Atrium, Level 2 | Free
Our teachers and students curated a special showcase where children explored the links between historical artefacts, their present-day counterparts, as well as their imagined future.
Visit our exhibit and be immersed in different project themes related to āKitesā, āTelevisionā, āEntertainmentā, āTransportationā, and even āArtificial Intelligenceā!

Loose Parts Play: Turning History into Art
11 Mar (Sat) | 10.15am, 11am, 11.45am, 1pm, 1.45pm & 2.30pm (30 mins per session)

Free (but refundable deposit of $10/adult-child pair collected at registration.)
Let your creative juices flow with an array of natural materials such as sticks, pebbles, shells, boxes, wood cookies, tubes and many more! Create toys and vehicles of the past based on our artefact images, or invent your own new and original forms!Ā
Suitable for age 3 ā 6 with parental accompaniment

In-Gallery Show-and-Tell: Childrenās Take on Artefacts
11 Mar (Sat) | 10.30am – 5.30pm (20 mins per session) | Level 2 Galleries | Free
What happens when a group of curious 6-year-olds visit the National Museum of Singapore? They discover the stories behind the museum artefacts and form personal connections with their favourite ones. Now, they like to share their thoughts with you!
6 enthusiastic students will be given 20 minutes to educate and share info, tidbits and personal stories linked to their favourite artefacts.
By the end of the session, you, too, might wonder which is your favourite artefact and why!
