Nurturing Young Minds @ Namly
In Singapore, young children grow up in a concrete jungle where skyscrapers and large malls abound and have little exposure to nature and natural elements. At Mulberry Learning, we recognise the importance for children to develop physically and mentally, explore, take risks, question, sing, dance, and imagine! Located in a 2-storey semi-detached house at Namly Crescent, Mulberry Learning @ Namly offers a tranquil environment for preschoolers of aged 18 months to 6 years to learn and grow without distractions from the hectic pace of the usual urban areas in Singapore. Mulberry Learning @ Namly is located conveniently near Sixth Avenue MRT Station on the Downtown Line in the Bukit Timah area.
A unique feature of Namly centre is the outdoor learning space within the compound, which is curated according to the theme of the “Sea”, “Forest” & “Mountain”. Children at the Namly centre are fortunate to have these amazing outdoor environments that allow them to develop gross motor skills while having active fun! Research has shown that outdoor exploration and learning through play have many benefits for young children, and these form an integral part of Mulberry Learning’s curriculum @ Namly.

What Parents Say About Us
Nataliia Fedotova, parent of Alexander Tretyakov (N2), Mulberry Learning @ Shenton Way“We enrolled Alexander in Mulberry Learning at Shenton Way in September 2017 and so far, my husband and I have been happy with our decision. What is valuable to me as a parent, is how much the teachers share with us to keep us updated on our child's daily activities in school. This feels like a personal touch because the teachers even send me pictures of Alex in school. Not to mention the family activities we get to join in. The last time we participated in an event, we spent 3 hours with other parents, children and teachers watching the shows that they have prepared. As parents, we can see that this is a great place for children to learn and grow. We're really happy that we joined Mulberry Learning.”
Yomay Lin, parent of Elliot Goh (K1), Mulberry Learning @ Cairnhill“Ms Carol is a dedicated vice principal who is very loving and caring towards the children and is receptive towards parents’ feedback. Teachers of the branch are generally caring and attentive to children's needs.”
- “Would like to thank all the Teachers from the bottom of our hearts, for taking such good care of Chloe. I believe since the Circuit Breaker, many parents including us, really do see the importance of teachers, who put in such long hours at work. This is an occupation, if without passion, would not be sustainable. We can truly feel that Chloe enjoys her time in school and that to us, is very important. It also gives us a huge piece of mind, allowing us to concentrate at work. We also came to realize that Chloe does learn things in school! Although it’s an infant care where teachers are super busy tending to kids, they still managed to find time to teach the infants, which is really amazing!”
Valerie Sim and Darren Ng, parents of Chloe Ng, Braddell
- “Thank you for hearing our pleas and special requests! Such a relief for working parents like us to have an ease of mind, knowing that Inayah is safe and having a good time! Her educator goes the extra mile to make sure she can keep up with Chinese class. The principal is kind and jovial to all the kids and parents too! Her constant communication is commendable.”
Farhath and Ahmad, parents of Inayah Zikra, Mulberry Learning @ Braddell
Kaiqi, parent of Hannah Ng (N2), Mulberry Learning @ Cairnhill“Teachers Logesh and Pinyu Laoshi have invested so much love and sincerity in doing their best. Both my girls come home from school so joyful each day and given they take a long time to warm up to strangers, I felt the teachers did so well in helping the girls adapt when they first enrolled. All teachers are very open to communication and very patient with first-time parents like us. We are thankful that they are outstanding and committed in what they do on a daily basis.”
Pua Khian Hong, parent of Hannah Pua (K2) and Daniel Pua (N2), Mulberry Learning @ Alexandra“Kudos to the team at Alexandra. One of the main reasons why we stayed on was the teachers who took extra care and were committed to their cause as early educators. Tr Sarwin has taught both our children. Throughout our time at Mulberry, we saw her relentless dedication towards the kids as well as to her duty as an early educator - either through the care directly given or indirectly through her observations and feedback given to us. She is patient with kids yet firm when push comes to shove.”
- “Thank you to all the teachers for providing a friendly and fun environment for our children where they can learn and grow. Thank you for guiding and imparting the right values to Clement (who can be a handful) so that he can be a better person each and every day.”
June Loh, parent of Clement Goh, Mulberry Learning @ Braddell
Chew Chen Li, parent of Hannah Pua (K2) and Daniel Pua (N2), Mulberry Learning @ Alexandra“Xu Lao Shi has been working tirelessly through the year to nurture the students under her care. She is very patient, and knows how to handle the children. She also has a good rapport with the children, and you can tell that she really cares for wants the best for the children. I think her attitude and positivity is highly commendable, and it also rubs off the children, who become interested and start to love the Chinese language.”
Kayo Imanishi, parent of Yuna Imanishi (N2), Mulberry Learning @ Cairnhill“I really appreciate the warm care that Teacher Logesh and Wang Laoshi has towards my child. They are diligent and detailed oriented. I was always happy to get daily feedback on my child’s achievement at pick up. All the teachers at Cairnhill are very warm hearted. I strongly recommend this school because of them.”

Mulberry Learning Incorporated Habits Of Mind™ Framework
Habits of Mind™ is about knowing how to behave intelligently and respond effectively to uncertainty or dilemmas. It provides children of all ages a framework for autonomous learning, critical thinking and effective inquiry. These habits are introduced to the child by infusing it into the curriculum and delivered through daily lessons and activities.
Being the only preschool in Singapore to infuse the Habits of Mind™ framework into its curriculum, Mulberry Learning is also the first to provide an assessment platform called “The Habits of Mind Assessment Tool (THOMAS)” to measure and analyze the development of these habits in the child. With THOMAS, educators and parents will have access to a report that provides greater insight into the growth of these intelligent habits in the child.
Questioning & Problem Posing
As one of the 12 specially curated Habits of Mind™ infused into Mulberry Learning’s curriculum, Questioning & Problem Posing involves not just asking questions but seeing the value in asking the right questions.
This habit guides the child on the importance of knowing what information is required to find the answers and developing the most effective strategies to find it.
Mulberry Learning Environment
Beautifully designed spaces are hallmarks of the Mulberry Learning centre environment. We believe that our children learn best in thoughtfully-curated surroundings. That is why we spare no effort in creating a physical canvas that stimulates their senses, unleashes their innate creativity, and encourages their natural desire to explore.
