We invite you to discover the joy of learning at our upcoming Competent Explorers Open House! This is your chance to see firsthand what makes Mulberry Learning a vibrant, nurturing environment where your child can thrive. From curious infants to confident preschool learners, every child will engage in thoughtfully designed activities that spark creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning. You’ll also get to see how our passionate teachers bring lessons to life through hands-on, interactive classes, integrating our Habits of Mind™ framework alongside a Reggio Emilia-inspired, play-based approach.

If your child is in PN or N1, they can join either of the two 20-minute sessions:

• Slot 1 (9:30–9:50): Chinese Music Mooves– Chinese Music & Movement – Our teachers will engage your child with playful songs, instruments, and movement activities that blend music and language. Your little one will get to develop listening skills, coordination, and self-expression while enjoying rhythm and creative movement in a fun, interactive setting.

• Slot 2 (11:30–11:50): Experiential Learning – Your child will engage in hands-on, play-based activities that encourage curiosity and discovery. Through guided exploration, they will experiment, problem-solve, and learn to express their ideas.

If your child is in N2–K2, they can also choose either of the two 20-minute sessions:

• Slot 1 (9:30–9:50): Little Newton – Our teachers will guide your child through interactive science and math experiences, helping them explore concepts through playful experiments. Your child will get to ask questions, investigate, and develop critical thinking skills.

• Slot 2 (11:30–11:50): Picasso Kidz – Children will enjoy creative art activities designed to ignite imagination. With guidance from our teachers, your child will experiment with colours, shapes, and textures, expressing their ideas in their own unique way.

If your little one is in Infant Care, they will enjoy hands-on, sensory-rich activities that let them explore, play, and discover at their own pace, with our caring teachers supporting and guiding them throughout the morning.

Note: If you’re unable to attend both time slots, you’re still welcome to join a school tour, where you can witness firsthand how your child engages, explores, and grows in our nurturing, play-based environment. You may also choose to attend both the school tour and the class sessions.

Habits of Mind™ is about knowing how to behave intelligently and respond effectively to uncertainty or dilemmas. It provides children of all ages a framework for autonomous learning, critical thinking and effective inquiry. These habits are introduced to the child by infusing them into the curriculum and delivered through daily lessons and activities.

FACT #1: Mulberry Learning is the first and only preschool in Singapore to be certified by The Institute for Habits of Mind.

Being the only preschool in Singapore to infuse the Habits of Mind™ framework into its curriculum, Mulberry Learning is also the first to provide an assessment platform called “The Habits of Mind Assessment Tool (THOMAS)” to measure and analyze the development of these habits in the child. With THOMAS, educators and parents will have access to a report that provides greater insight into the child’s growth of these intelligent habits.

As one of the 12 specially curated Habits of Mind™ infused into Mulberry Learning’s curriculum, Applying Past Knowledge to New Situations means developing a more profound understanding by applying thinking from one situation to another.
