This event invites children to explore the beauty of nature through hands-on activities, using natural materials, textures, and light to spark their imagination. Your little ones will engage with natural materials through loose parts play, stacking and arranging twigs, leaves, and pebbles to bring their imagination to life. They’ll also experiment with textures in nature, using leaves, bark, and stones to craft unique artworks that highlight the sensory wonders around them. Finally, through light and shadow play, children will discover how sunlight transforms the way natural elements appear, adding a touch of magic to their creations. Every activity is designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a deeper connection with the natural world, all while having fun.

Mulberry Learning’s Habits of Mind™ Framework

Habits of Mind™ is about knowing how to behave intelligently and respond effectively to uncertainty or dilemmas. It provides children of all ages a framework for autonomous learning, critical thinking and effective inquiry. These habits are introduced to the child by infusing them into the curriculum and delivered through daily lessons and activities.

FACT #1: Mulberry Learning is the first and only preschool in Singapore to be certified by The Institute for Habits of Mind.

Being the only preschool in Singapore to infuse the Habits of Mind™ framework into its curriculum, Mulberry Learning is also the first to provide an assessment platform called “The Habits of Mind Assessment Tool (THOMAS)” to measure and analyze the development of these habits in the child. With THOMAS, educators and parents will have access to a report that provides greater insight into the child’s growth of these intelligent habits.
