Discover Mulberry Learning @ Jurong East (Creative)
Located just a short walk away from Jurong East MRT, and nestled conveniently in the heart of the International Business Park, Mulberry Learning @ Jurong East is the brand’s largest centre at 13,000 square feet in size, and our flagship school in Western region of Singapore.
An Oasis of Wonderment and Awe
Designed and decorated from the ground up with the goal of instilling awe in every child, Mulberry Learning @ Jurong East (Creative) makes good use of its space by creating large, open areas filled with colours and beautiful learning corners. Bright paint adorns the school walls, and ceiling-length windows emphasise the open concept of the centre even more by flooding the school with warm, natural sunlight. Mulberry Learning @ Jurong East (Creative) offers classes for both pre-schoolers and infants alike, and this is reflected in the design of the school.
About Mulberry Learning
Mulberry Learning Centre was started with the dream of creating well-rounded children with imaginative young minds, positive attitudes and strength of character.
Over the years, our unique pedagogy has touched the lives of many children and parents. We are recognized for our vibrant Reggio-inspired learning spaces, comprehensive bilingual programmes, holistic development outcomes, and strengths in character development via Habits of Mind.
In recent years, we were voted by parents in Singapore as the “Best Holistic Learning Program” for 3 consecutive years in a row (as awarded by Young Parents magazine in 2016/2017, 2017/2018, & 2018/2019). We are also the first ever preschool network in the world to be certified by The Institute for Habits of Mind from the USA.
What is the “Habits of Mind”?
Habits of Mind is about knowing how to behave intelligently and respond effectively to uncertainty or dilemmas. It provides children of all ages a framework for autonomous learning, critical thinking and effective inquiry. The framework was developed by Dr Arthur Costa, Emeritus Professor of Education at California State University, Sacramento, and Co-Director of the Institute for Intelligent Behavior in El Dorado Hills, California.
The Habits of Mind framework has been adopted by Singapore’s Ministry of Education to groom the top 1% and the brightest students in Singapore under its Gifted Education Programme. Mulberry Learning is proud to be the first and only preschool in to adopt Habits of Mind for preschoolers in Singapore and the region.
A passionate and dedicated team
As part of Mulberry Learning’s promise to provide premium quality infant and child care services, we have an experienced, passionate team of staff members filled with love for children. At the helm of this team of passionate individuals is the centre principal, Miss Shermaine. A confident leader and exuberant personality, she brings her love for children, a sincere heart, and years of deep experience to her job of managing the brand’s largest centre daily.
Here is what our parents say about us.
Parent, Fong Yue Hae
I would like to show appreciation towards all the teachers and staff in Mulberry Jurong East for their patience and care to the children. I love how the children generally like to be with the teachers. They also attempt to remember all students’ names regardless of level and class. Kudos to the teachers and staff for everything!
Parent, Jean Liang
I would like to show appreciation towards Teacher Bea who is always making sure parents are assured and she’s able to manage children’s temperament in a positive manner. Thank you so much for the great help in the past year.
Parent, Marilyn Chan
I would like to show appreciation towards Zhang Lao Shi of N2 Creator. She has been with the class since she came, and has created her own style of nurturing the class. My child adores her and has shown great interest in mandarin. Zhang Lao Shi is always very prompt and responsive in feedback and requests.
Parent, Yi Ling Tan
I would like to show appreciation towards Ms Shermaine – Whom I think is a very responsible and responsive principal who strives her best to meet all parents requests and feedback. Despite her joining the school not too long ago, but her attitude towards all gained respect from us as parents and we like to provide our feedback directly to her as she is always around and seen in centre. Feels like she works really long hours (Comes early and one of the last to leave) and put in her best for the Centre.
